TOYOTA CHASER Description

The "Chaser" is a passenger car that debuted in 1977, a sibling car sharing its body and engine with the "Mark II" and "Cresta." Developed under the concept of "The starting point for a new luxury car," it is a 4-door hardtop vehicle featuring a horizontal rear combination lamp and a diagonal lattice front grille. From the model released in September 1996 after a full model change, this car took on a sportier positioning compared to its siblings. Sales ended in 2001 with the introduction of its successor, the "Verossa." Grades for the model released in August 1998 included "XL," "Tourer," and "Avante." This model featured safety equipment such as seatbelts with pretensioners & force limiters, ABS, and dual airbags standard on all cars.
