TOYOTA STARLET Description

The "Starlet" is a car whose sales began from Toyota in 1978. It was born as a sporty, higher-grade derivative of the company's "Publica." Despite its low price, this car possessed performance capable of competing in motorsports like gymkhana and dirt trials. While the first model adopted a 2-door/4-door fastback body, subsequent models became 3-door/5-door hatchback type vehicles. In the model released in December 1997, grades included the standard specification "Reflet," the sporty "Glanza," the outdoor type "Remix," plus the newly established dress-up model "Carat."
