The "Land Cruiser 80" is an off-road 4WD SUV released by Toyota in 1989. As the successor to the "Land Cruiser 60," this vehicle was developed under the theme "The finest multi-purpose 4WD leading the trend." By adopting coil rigid suspension instead of the traditional leaf rigid suspension, it significantly improved ride comfort and handling performance while retaining its characteristic off-road capability. It also revamped the rugged body design of the "Land Cruiser" series' heavy-duty models, featuring a high-sense, stable form composed of smooth curves, creating a sense of luxury. Production of this car ended in 1997, and its successor, the "Land Cruiser 100," appeared in 1998. Grades available for the model released in January 1995 include "Wagon VX Limited," "Wagon VX," "Wagon GX," as well as grades equipped with "EGR installation" to comply with the Automobile NOx Law regulations. This model features a revised front grille design from the previous version, with the emblem changed from "TOYOTA" to the "Toyota CI" mark. Various body colors were available, such as "Dark Green Mica" and "Dark Blue Mica Metallic." The information in this description is current as of October 2018.
