TOYOTA LAND_CRUISER Description

Launched in 1954, Toyota's "Land Cruiser" is the company's top-of-the-line large cross-country 4WD and SUV-type vehicle. Commonly known as "Rankle" in Japan, it is often referred to as "The King of 4WD." The 200 series models, released from 2007 onwards, were developed based on three concepts: "Improved basic performance through new engine and platform," "Adoption of new technology for enhanced off-road performance," and "Enhancement of advanced/comfort features." This vehicle features high durability and is equipped with Crawl Control, which provides excellent vehicle stability on surfaces requiring delicate speed adjustments, and "KDSS" (Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System), which controls the operation of front and rear stabilizers. In 2015, it became the first domestically produced large SUV-type vehicle to receive the highest "Advanced Safety Vehicle Plus (ASV+)" rating with a perfect score in the JNCAP preventive safety assessment. Grades for the model released in July 2017 included "GX," "AX," "AX G Selection," as well as the top-grade "ZX." This model's exterior features a design integrating the grille frame and LED headlamps, while the interior incorporates functional 6-eye Optitron meters with self-illuminating dials and needles. The "Toyota Safety Sense P" collision avoidance support package is standard on all grades. In August 2021, it underwent a full model change and was launched as the new Land Cruiser (300 series). This model, the successor to the "200" series station wagon type, is available in gasoline and diesel versions. It inherits and evolves "Reliability, Durability, Off-road Performance," adopts a new platform for weight reduction and a lower center of gravity, and features a new powertrain. It is also equipped with the latest preventive safety package "Toyota Safety Sense" and Toyota's first "Fingerprint Authentication Start Switch." Grades include "GX," "AX," "VX," "ZX," and also the "GR SPORT," which incorporates feedback from drivers participating in the Dakar Rally into vehicle development.
