TOYOTA DYNA_TRUCK Description

Toyota's "Dyna Truck" is a small/medium truck named after "dynamic," implying strength, etc. Its predecessor was the company's "Toyopet Route Truck RK52 model" released in 1956, renamed to the current "Dyna" in 1959. This vehicle has been jointly developed with Daihatsu from the 3rd generation model released in February 1969, and from the 7th generation model released in May 1995 onwards, it has been manufactured through joint development with Hino Motors. In November 2003, a hybrid vehicle was developed under the concept "Clean Diesel Technology D-CAT" and added to the lineup. In the current latest model released in April 2018, the 2t load capacity series underwent a minor change, newly adding vehicle types with a gross vehicle weight of less than 7.5t. For this model's diesel hybrid wide cab vehicle, improvements have been made to the hybrid control system. The information in this description is current as of October 2018.
