TOYOTA CROWN Description

The "Crown" is a luxury car, primarily sedan-based, with a long history dating back to 1955. It is characterized by the dignity and prestige befitting a luxury car and has incorporated advanced technologies of its time. The 9th generation model, launched in 1991, was developed as Japan's orthodox prestige saloon, based on the concept of "Inheriting tradition and leaping into a new generation." With the full model change in 2018, the 15th generation "Crown" saw the discontinuation of the "Royal" and "Athlete" series, as well as the derivative "Majesta," leading to a new grade structure. This model features grades like "B," "S," and "G" replacing the "Royal" specification, and "RS," "RS-B," and "RS Advance" replacing the "Athlete" specification. The preventive safety package adopted from the 14th generation model evolved into the second-generation "Toyota Safety Sense," adding detection functions for nighttime pedestrians and daytime cyclists to "Pre-Crash Safety," and incorporating the "Road Sign Assist (RSA)" function, which displays detected road signs on the display to reduce oversight. Furthermore, the "e-Care Service," allowing for vehicle diagnostics and driving advice, and the DCM (Data Communication Module) with connected functions are standard on all cars.
