MERCEDES_BENZ C-CLASS Description

The Mercedes-Benz "C-Class" has consistently been the benchmark for its segment since its introduction in 1982. Four body types are available: "Station Wagon," "Sedan," "2-door Coupe," and the open-top "Cabriolet." The previous C-Class, sold from 2014, sold over 100,000 units cumulatively in Japan (sedan and station wagon combined), achieved the segment's number one annual sales from 2015 to 2019, and won numerous awards. The new C-Class announced in June 2021 adopts numerous new technologies inherited from the flagship S-Class, including safety driving systems, a large vertical center display, AR navigation, biometric authentication for settings like seat position, enhanced nighttime visibility with DIGITAL Light, and excellent maneuverability with rear-axle steering. While incorporating S-Class elements into the exterior and interior design, it blends them with C-Class's characteristic sportiness throughout. Furthermore, the entire lineup has been electrified through ISG (Integrated Starter Generator, mild hybrid system) and plug-in hybrid options.
