LEXUS RX Description

Released by Toyota's "Lexus" in 1998, the "RX" is a car developed aiming for an SUV with the advantages of a luxury sedan. In Japan, it was sold as the "Toyota Harrier" until the second-generation model. It transitioned to the "Lexus" brand during the full model change for the third generation in 2009. The vehicle of the fourth-generation model, launched after a full model change in October 2015, was developed under the concept "Being RX, yet surpassing RX." The exterior of the model released in December 2017 features a touchless power back door that opens when a hand is held over the LEXUS emblem. The interior features a driver's space with a cockpit-like feel, and the instrument panel's stepped configuration realizes a spacious and open feeling. Standard body colors include "Black," "Graphite Black Glass Flake," and "Deep Blue Mica." Special editions for this car include the "RX270 Special Edition Radiant Aero Style," available on the model released in August 2014, and the "RX300 Special Edition Black Sequence," available on the model released in August 2018.
