HONDA CIVIC Description

Honda's "Civic" is one of Honda's representative vehicles, boasting ease of use and agile driving performance. The first model was launched in 1972, and up to the 7th generation model, it was primarily offered as a hatchback and sedan within the small passenger car frame. Depending on the generation, coupe and wagon types also existed, resulting in diverse body types. The full model change implemented in 2000 for the 7th generation model was developed under the concept of "Smart Compact." From the 8th generation, the body size was enlarged, becoming a 3-number size ordinary car. Grades for the model released in September 2017 included the 4-door "Sedan" and the 5-door "Hatchback" and "Type R." Seating capacity is 5 for the "Sedan" and "Hatchback," and 4 for the "Type R." This model successfully achieved significant improvements in driving performance by adopting features such as a newly equipped multi-link rear suspension providing excellent stability and a dual-axis strut front suspension improved from the previous model. In September 2021, it underwent a full model change and the 11th generation was launched. Two types, "LX" and "EX," are available, with both CVT and 6MT transmissions offered for both types. Aiming for "exhilaration" for all occupants, it features a low center of gravity, a horizontal-based simple and flowing proportion, a wide glass area, and a spacious interior. Honda's unique VTEC TURBO engine provides agile response and high handling stability, realizing high-quality, nimble driving performance. Additionally, the new generation connected technology "Honda CONNECT" and the advanced safety driving support system "Honda SENSING" are standard on all types.
