HONDA ACCORD Description

The "Accord" is a mid-size passenger car released by Honda. Since its launch in 1976, it has consistently adhered to the concept of "Harmony between people and cars," presenting a new automotive identity to the world. The first model featured measures for low fuel consumption and low pollution, equipped with an engine that cleared the "Showa 51 (1976) Emission Regulations." Initially launched as a 3-door hatchback, a 4-door sedan type was added in 1977. Furthermore, import sales to Japan began for the "Accord Coupe," a 2-door notchback type developed and produced in North America, in 1988, and the "Accord Wagon," a 5-door wagon type, in 1991. From the 6th generation model, which underwent a full model change in 1997, a policy was decided to adopt a common global flexible platform and produce vehicles with dimensions and formats suited to the needs of various regions worldwide, positioning it as the core of Honda's global models. Grades available for the model released in April 2012 include "20TL," "Type S," and "Type S Advance Package." The newly added grade in this model, "20TL InterNavi Package," is based on the "20TL" and adds equipment such as "Link Up Free," "Honda InterNavi," the "Progressive Commander" for controlling audio and navigation systems, and an ETC onboard unit.
