DAIHATSU HIJET_TRUCK Description

The "Hijet Truck" is the truck model of the "Hijet" series launched by Daihatsu in 1960, a long-historied light truck. This car was developed under the basic concepts of "High reliability, economy, and load capacity." The model released in September 2014 underwent a full model change aiming to "Embody a light truck easy for a wide range of people to use." Development reflected extensive hearings conducted with light truck users nationwide, resulting in evolved basic performance in durability, load capacity, and rust prevention, along with securing ample interior space and improving ease of entry and exit. This model collaborates with the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries' "Agricultural Girls Project," offering a lineup of colorful body colors conscious of female users, and optional comfort features like super UV & IR cut glass and a super clean air filter. The model released in May 2018 newly adopts the collision avoidance support system "Smart Assist IIIt," with its operating range modified for light truck characteristics. VSC & TRC, Emergency Stop Signal, and IR & UV cut glass are also added. Body colors include standard "White" and "Bright Silver Metallic," with manufacturer options like "Tonico Orange Metallic," "Fine Mint Metallic," "Offbeat Khaki Metallic," and "Light Rose Mica Metallic" available.
